Lars Y. Terenius has accepted his nomination as European Chair of the CDA Scientific Advisory Board

CDA's systemic research and analysis on China will unfold under the guidance and contribution of an international and interdisciplinary board of distinguished scientists. It is our pleasure to announce that Professor Lars Y. TERENIUS from Stockholm has accepted his nomination as (European) Chair of the CDA Scientific Advisory Board. He is Professor at Karolinska Institute, founder and former Director of the Center of Molecular Medicine (CMM) at Karolinska Hospital, Member of The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences (KVA) and former Member of The Nobel Assembly and The Nobel Committee for the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.

CV

Between 2006 and 2011 Prof. Terenius acted as an advisor to the government of PR China. Upon invitation of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST of the People's Republic of China) and in cooperation with the local government in Tianjin, the Tianjin Medical University and Nankai University he facilitated a knowledge transfer in order to lay the foundations for establishing a translational research and innovation oriented Center of Molecular Medicine in Tianjin based on the successful experiences of the CMM he founded at Karolinska in Stockholm some 25 years ago.
